Just get moving!

We have all heard the saying “Sitting is the new Smoking” but what does that really mean?

When we sit for too long and not move regularly, the small muscles that protect our spine and posture/balance etc start to switch off. When this occurs the big “mover” muscles on the outside have to try and do the job of the little guys which may lead to injury! All of our practitioners are experts at getting your joints, muscles, and nerves functioning better again after injury, and to give you the tools to look after yourself long term. Some great little tips to keep active can be to set an alarm to stand up at work every 30mins, utilise a standing desk at times, and get into the habit of walking for a minimum of 30 mins per day. Remember you only get one body so make sure you look after it!
