Louise Westaway

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Louise is an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 20 years working across a variety of private practice settings. She is a big believer in combining hands-on treatment and manual therapy with movement-based rehabilitation to achieve the best outcomes for her patients. Louise takes a holistic approach to assessment and management, with a strong focus on movement control, core stability and patient education.

She integrates muscle and joint therapy with Clinical Pilates and strength-based rehabilitation to create clear, realistic and personalised treatment plans. Her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and tools they need to move well and stay well.

Having previously worked with high-level and emerging athletes at The University of Queensland, Louise has extensive experience managing both acute and chronic sporting injuries. As a mother of three, she also understands the complexities of treating children and teenagers through periods of growth and development.
Louise has a particular interest in hypermobility management, hip and pelvic stabilisation, and all aspects of women’s health, including pre- and post-natal physiotherapy care.
