Dr Izzy Scott
Dr Izzy Scott holds a Masters of Clinical Chiropractic with Distinction and a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Queensland University, and is one of a select group of Chiropractors in Queensland to have completed a Diplomate in Paediatrics & Pregnancy related conditions. Izzy also works as an academic at Central Queensland University assisting the Masters students during their practical skills classes providing her expertise around clinical skills and hands-on patient handling.
Izzy prides herself in providing exceptional, well-rounded healthcare for everyone in the community; her passion lies with caring for paediatrics, pregnancy, and families, helping them achieve their health goals and living happy, healthy lives. She has a particular interest in assisting babies or children who are delayed or have skipped motor milestones, head shape changes (like plagiocephaly), unsettled babies, complications from traumatic births, and feeding or sleeping difficulties. She is passionate about chiropractic care to assist with a comfortable pregnancy and ideal birth, in addition to addressing pregnancy related conditions and pain relief.
For the little ones, her treatment is gentle and suited to the child/baby’s age, with subtle movements, as well as cranio-sacral release work and gentle mobilisation techniques. Treatment for adolescents and adults often entails Chiropractic adjustments suited to the patient, soft tissue techniques, stretches and conditioning, scraping, gentle cupping and mobilisations.
